Physics and Chemistry Teacher (high school)
Helderberg International School is an independent, co-educational school following the International Cambridge Curriculum with students from Nursery to Year 13. We seek to appoint an open-minded and committed teacher from term 3 of 2021.
The successful candidate for the above position will be expected to:

Have an understanding and working knowledge of the CAMBRIDGE CURRICULUM.

Experience in teaching IGCSE and AS/A-Levels students beneficial.

Be a dynamic and motivated educator who has a strong personal philosophy of education.

Enhance the students’ competence/performance/achievement in, and enthusiasm for learning.

Maintain high standards of classroom practice and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Be available and willing to support functions/activities when required.

Have competent interpersonal and communication skills.

Have a high level of computer skills.

Be willing and able to participate/coach/offer an extra-curricular sport or club.

Be committed to the ethos and values of the school.

An appropriate academic and professional qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.

Current or pending SACE registration.
